The American University in Vietnam (AUV) was honored to participate and deliver remarks at a national consultation organized by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) on the development of an International-Standard High-Quality Human Resources Education Program. The consultation brought together higher education institutions, policymakers, and experts to discuss strategies for strengthening Vietnam's higher education system and preparing globally competitive talent.

During the consultation, AUV shared its perspective on the evolving role of universities in preparing graduates with not only disciplinary knowledge, but also critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and a lifelong learning mindset—qualities that are increasingly essential in today's interconnected world.

AUV also highlighted its American liberal arts educational model, which emphasizes interdisciplinary learning, practical application, and holistic student development. The University further shared how its longstanding partnerships with leading U.S. institutions create flexible international pathways, enabling students to pursue globally recognized academic opportunities while strengthening Vietnam's future workforce.
The presentation additionally outlined AUV's commitment to expanding postgraduate education, strengthening international collaboration, and supporting the professional development of English language educators. AUV reaffirmed its belief that sustained collaboration among universities, government, industry, and international partners is essential to enhancing the quality, relevance, and global competitiveness of Vietnam's higher education system.

AUV sincerely appreciates the opportunity provided by the Ministry of Education and Training to contribute to this important national dialogue. We remain committed to advancing international education, fostering meaningful partnerships, and preparing globally minded graduates who will contribute to Vietnam's sustainable development and future leadership.
